Comprehensive Nutrition Plan Details:

Comprehensive Intake/Diet Evaluation

Review of food journal, based on quantitative and qualitative measures.  Can be recorded electronically (Google drive, spreadsheets) or manually (pen and paper).

Review of two or more completed diet/lifestyle questionnaires.

I’ll be reviewing quantitative measures such as calorie intake, nutrient deficiencies, vitamin & mineral deficiencies/surpluses, and ingredients of meals. Qualitative measures include how moods, sleep, training and relationships affect food choices.

 

Customized 3 or 5 day meal plans

Individually-crafted meal plans that are easy to implement and follow your lifestyle.  I’ll make recommendations based on your needs, including how to utilize leftovers, meal delivery services and accommodate shifts in weekly schedules.  Recipes will be provided and will range in preparation lengths, depending on your allocated time for food prep.  Modifications to include family member meals will also be included.

Pre-Training Nutrition

How to time meals/snacks before a training session.  Depending on when you workout, understand how your food choices will affect your performance.

 

Training Nutrition

Mostly designed for training sessions over 90 minutes, this area targets what type of food/liquid nutrition to eat/drink during an activity to maximize results.  Includes advice on avoiding cramping, under (or over) hydrating and under (or over) fueling.

 

Recovery Nutrition

When you speed recovery time, you experience better performance gains.  We’ll look at which foods speed recovery, including adaptogenic herbs and powerful anti-inflammatory foods that can be integrated into your diet. Topics also covered include rehydration, hormonal support, and muscle-tissue repair.

 

Energy Bar Upgrade

Includes tips on selecting the highest-quality nutrition bars and best places to find/buy them (in-store and online). Explore various sports fueling options:  shopping for bars, ordering in bulk, and making homemade goods.

 

Grocery Shopping Assistance

Curious how to navigate and purchase your food from a grocery store, wholesale club or

Farmers’ market? Let me tag along a shopping trip and show you how! Tips for selecting easily-integratable foods into your recipes, as well how to read nutrition labels are some of the important takeaways you’ll obtain from this trip.

 

Grocery Shopping

Groceries will be delivered to your home or place of business coordinated with the meals

on your plan so that you can easily whip up the recipes without needing to purchase all the ingredients yourself or go to the store.

 

Pantry Clean-Up

Clean the nutrition bandits out of your cupboard and replace them with healthy,

nutritious foods! Let’s look through your pantry and check for foods with hidden sugars and bad oils that may be sabotaging your diet.

 

Meal Service Ordering

There are many meal delivery services available today.  Let me comb through these

services and find the meals that best suit your individual and/or family needs.  Depending on your preference, some services require reheating meals or if you’d prefer to cook, many services will send you semi-prepared ingredients with an easy-to-use directions for cooking.
